Appointments

You can call and book an appointment for your examination or treatment at the Nusa Medica Clinic. You may also come direct to the clinic without an appointment however it is possible you may have to wait if there are other patients with appointments ahead of you. However in the event of an emergency you will be seen as a priority.

What you need to bring with you.

Personal ID (identity card, passport or residence permit)
Insurance card (health insurance or travel insurance)
Documents from prior examinations (x-rays, medical reports, etc.) if available or necessary
Blood group and vaccination card, allergy ID, diabetes monitoring booklet or other medical ID cards

Patients Rights

As a patient you have the right to thorough and respectful treatment and care. Our aim at the Nusa Medica Clinic is to maintain and improve your health. We respect your wishes in all matters.

Duty to Inform

Your doctor is obliged to inform you about all examinations, treatment options and interventions. This duty to inform is considered void only when immediate action is necessary. Scheduled investigations, interventions and treatments are carried out only with your informed consent.

Professional Confidentiality & Privacy

Our staff is bound to confidentiality. We communicate information about your health to other parties only with your consent (or if required by law). However, we assume your consent when providing your caregivers, pre and post-treatment physicians and other further attending persons with relevant information.
Our staff will make every effort to maintain the personal privacy & dignity of every patient under their care.
Where necessary and appropriate patients will be offered or may request a chaperone to be in attendance during intimate examinations or on patient request.

Patient Documentation Security

The clinic is obliged to keep records for all patients. This provides information on testing and treatment (examinations, diagnoses, treatment, care). Patient documentation must be kept for at least 10 years following the patient’s last treatment at the Nusa Medica Clinic. Patient documentation is the property of the hospital. Patients may request access to patient documentation and are entitled to receive copies (the hospital may charge a fee). The patient may wish to receive the original patient documentation upon expiry of the retention period – otherwise, it will be destroyed.
